Established in 2011 as carbide cutting tool blanks and wear parts business unit of Xiamen Tungsten Company (XTC group), Jiujiang Golden Egret Hard Material (GEHM) specializes in the R&D and manufacturing of tungsten related powder, cutting tool blanks & wear parts. After decade’s efforts, GEHM has about 600 employees and builds 10000-ton tungsten powder capacity, 1000-ton carbide product for cutting tool blanks & wear parts per year. With in-house RTP powder and 100% original material, cutting tool blank business unit focuses on developing and producing insert blanks as sintered for cutting tools manufacturers of even the most challenging turning, milling, drilling, threading, facing, cut-off, and grooving. Annual insert blanks capacity reaches 50 million pieces. Wear parts business unit produces an extensive range of cemented carbide product to meet customer needs, such as EDM blanks, nozzles, wear tiles, wire drawing die.etc, which address the needs of aggressive & atrocious working environments that are full of corrosion, erosion, abrasiveness, impacting, high pressure and temperature.
Founded in 1958, XTC is the world largest supplier of tungstate, with around 30% of the market globally. The group was originally set up as a joint venture with Sandvik Hard Metals, of Sweden and the Sumitomo Group, of Japan.
